The Library District owns, operates, and maintains vehicles to support the delivery of library programs and services at off-site locations, as well as the transport of library materials between facilities. These vehicles are intended solely for official District business and are not available for the general transportation of staff or members of the public.

All District employees are required to comply with all personnel policies and procedures related to driving on behalf of the District.

When the Poudre River Public Library District participates in or sponsors activities that involve transporting library patrons to off-site locations, the District will employ the services of a licensed commercial driver and vehicle provided by the City of Fort Collins or use another licensed commercial carrier.
