Free Books for All are small but specialized offsite collections around town that support Poudre River Public Library District's mission of enriching our community by providing universal access to resources for knowledge, innovation, and enjoyment. Books are in English, Spanish, and other World Languages by request.
The Community Outreach department and library volunteers curate these collections that consist of gently-used, weeded, and donated books as well as brand new materials.
As part of our commitment to social justice, equity, and opportunity, we aim to place these "Informal Libraries" in diverse communities that include those who are geographically isolated from library branch services, are economically stressed, socially isolated, or underserved due to disability, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, national origin, or ethnicity.
The books are identified with a "Free Books for All" sticker.
If you are interested in hosting an Informal Library in your institution, please contact the Community Outreach Department at 970-658-3721.
