Who can volunteer?
You can if you’re at least 14 years old. Library volunteers come from all walks of life: teenagers learning new skills, parents and executives sharing lifelong passions, and retirees enjoying new friendships. If you’re 18 years old or older, you must pass a background check.
We take volunteers for on-going and one-time assignments. If you need to satisfy educational or court-ordered requirements, just let us know ahead of time. If you’re a college student interested in gaining experience, we have limited internship opportunities available every semester. Just ask!
