Home Delivery

Qualifying individuals can sign up for library material drop-off and pick-up services.

What is Home Delivery?

Home delivery services are available for people with physical limitations due to age, illness, accident, or disability that keep them from visiting the library in person. The Home Delivery team works with library volunteers to deliver and pick-up library materials, including books, audiobook CDs, DVDs, items from our Gadgets and Things collection, and more.

Who is Eligible?

Participants need a Poudre Libraries card and must reside within the District’s service area boundaries. Individuals interested in Home Delivery services should apply with our Home Delivery team to determine eligibility for the program and arrange services.

FAQs for Home Delivery Services

Home Delivery Services matches you with a volunteer who will pick up and deliver materials to you every month. Each delivery can include a full bag of materials, usually holding up to 10 items.

When new materials are delivered, items from the previous delivery will be retrieved and returned to the library. You and your volunteer will coordinate the date and time.

All physical materials owned by Poudre Libraries are eligible for home delivery!

Use your current PIN to access your account online. Once you have logged in to your account, you can change your PIN using the “Edit PIN” option.

There is no cost for home delivery services. Overdue fines are charged on homebound materials, but the Library’s standard fee schedule will apply for damaged or lost items.

Volunteer Your Time

Volunteers pick up a bag of items from the library on a regular schedule (once a month) and deliver them to the individual. They also pick up the previous month’s items and bring them back to the library.
