The Magic of Stories!
Engage your little one with new sights and sounds through stories, songs, rhymes, and playful movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading.
Library Storytime is a research-based program that supports reading acquisition for all families with birth to preschool-aged children. Storytime staff intentionally focus on the building blocks of early literacy and language acquisition: reading, talking, singing, writing, and playing.
Storytime Schedule
We offer storytimes at all three library locations. Our storytellers take a few breaks throughout the year to recharge and prepare for storytime season! Check our online calendar for the most up-to-date information.

Storytime Values
Storytime honors and respects diverse groups, ideas, and themes.
Our program introduces and shares books, fingerplays, and rhymes that celebrate age, race, culture, ability, gender identity, and national origin.
Storytime promotes a positive sense of self.
The books, stories, activities, and materials we share feature a variety of concepts and themes intended to spark learning and imagination! When kids see characters who look like them, it helps them connect to the book, identify with the characters, and validate their experiences.
