Colorado Authors

If you’re a Colorado author, you can suggest the purchase of or donate your book to our collection.

Author Donations

Colorado authors may donate one copy of their book to be added to the library collection. The title must meet our collection criteria.

To donate:

  • In Person: Drop off one copy to a staff person at any of our libraries. Ask staff to send items to the Collections Manager.
  • Via Mail: Send to the Poudre Libraries Collections Manager, 3702 Automation Way, Suite 106, Fort Collins, CO 80525


Do not put items in the book drops. Donated items become property of Poudre Libraries and will not be returned.

Due to the large volume of suggestions received, we are unable to purchase all items or notify you of our decision. Items are purchased according to our Collection Development Policy.
