The 2026 Summer Adventure will be un-DINO-ably awesome this year! Dig into fun books and activities and earn prizes during the Library’s free,10-week program Unearth a Story / Desentierra una historia. It’s all about dinosaurs, fossils, archeology, and the Earth under our feet – past and present.

August 14 – Last day of Summer Adventure
Record activities and earn points in Beanstack or turn in your completed tracker slip(s) from your print tracker. Finish recording reading and activities and redeem your prizes.
August 17-21 – LEVEL 3 prize winners notified
Staff will contact winners directly via email or phone.

Choose a format for completing the adventure.
Digital Tracking: Pre-registration opens May 4 on Beanstack! Sign up on the Beanstack website or download and use the Beanstack Tracker App for a convenient online way to track your progress.
Paper Tracking: Use a printed Summer Adventure Tracker available at the libraries or for download starting May 27.
Pick up your LEVEL 1 Prize
Pick up in person starting May 27. Available while supplies last.
- Ages birth – 17: a new, free book from our Summer Adventure display
- Ages 18+: library carabiner.
LEVEL 2: Read, Create, Explore, & Reach 30 Points
Start digging into new books, fun learning activities, and exciting library programs.
Earn 30 adventure points and complete Level 2!
- Read = 1 point per day
- Complete an activity = 1 point
- Attend an event = 3 points
Pick up your LEVEL 2 Prize
Available while supplies last.
- Ages birth – 17: another new, free book from our Summer Adventure display
- Ages 18+: library sling bag
LEVEL 3: Add to Your Adventure & Reach 60 Points
Eager for more? Dig even deeper into summer fun and complete additional activities to earn another 30 points. Once you’ve reached 60 total points, you’ll be entered in a prize drawing at the end of the summer!
Kids birth to 11 have the chance to win a basket of toys and games while teens and adults can win $50 gift cards.
